We Are All Connected: Healing Ourself, Family and World Through Love
with Buddhist Meditation Teacher Elizabeth Muzyka

We often perceive ourselves as isolated individuals and experience loneliness and strong yearnings for a connection with others. According to Buddha, this perception of our self as isolated from others is an illusion. In truth we are all naturally and profoundly interconnected. This experience of interconnection reduces our feelings of separation, allowing an authentic love for others to arise. In this course we will be guided through a sequence of profound meditations that have the power to revolutionize our outlook on life, and heal our relationships with our self, family and everyone. We will lay the foundation for the actual experience for universal love, the key to solving the problems in our world.

Dealing with Delusions
with Buddhist Meditation teacher Elizabeth Muzyka

According to Buddha, our unhappiness and problems come from painful and distorted states of mind which we call delusions.  The essence of Buddhist practice is to identify and let go of the delusions and gradually to replace them with their virtuous opponents, peaceful and clear minds which produce happiness

In this course we will be given practical guidelines on how to bring this about through meditation and daily life practice. Applying these methods in our daily life is the key to a happy life.  These classes will be practical, interactive, involving both meditation and discussion… and will also give you a great opportunity to get to know your spiritual community.

The classes begin with a guided simple breathing and relaxing meditation. Then, a talk is given by the teacher on the subject for the week, always very practical methods for overcoming minds like impatience, our stress, or anxieties. After this, the teacher leads another meditation, to help familiarize our mind with the  subject topic. These classes are self contained, so you can attend any class you chose. However, you may receive more benefit from attending the whole course and so gain a fuller understanding of the subject.

You do not need to wear special clothes to meditate, and during the classes we sit on chairs or cushions.
